I have told many people that the care I received while at Cozumel International Hospital far exceeded any former hospital experience.
Everyone was so kind and the care was top rate. The room was spacious and comfortable. It even had an Alexa unit, as I do at home. Please thank again for me everyone who was so kind to me. And please let Dr. Pola know he did an excellent job and has gotten compliments on the incision and its healing. Please recognize them.

While four days in any hospital is not enjoyable. The doctors, nurses and staff made effort to return my health. All the while going out of their way to make a non-Spanish speaking visitor comfortable with what the protocol for my treatment was going to be making sure I or my companion (my son Matthew) understood.
So in closing I would say I do not think I could have received better in any other hospital. Thank you.
PS. I returned home safely and I am improving daily. Out for walks with dogs and breathing deeply.
My aunt was admitted to Cozumel International Hospital after a boating accident during an excursion from Royal Caribbean. I can honestly say this hospital felt more like a country club. The environment was clean and calming, and the people were incredibly friendly, compassionate, and caring - going above and beyond at every turn.
Special thanks to all the doctors, surgeons, nurses, front desk staff, and customer relations team. A heartfelt shoutout to Max Ortiz, head of admissions, who truly extended himself for both my aunt and me. His kindness and professionalism made a huge difference during a difficult time. I couldn't imagine a better place to be treated - aside from being in your own country. But even so, I absolutely love this little hospital and all the wonderful people who work there.
The staff was attentive and very kind throughout our stay. All personnel was personable, professional and very informative throughout every step of the process. The night staff was respectful of the patient and the need for rest and very attentive at every turn. All of the doctors were very thorough in their explanations of next steps and course of treatment. They did rounds and made consultations at times as promised and punctual. Hospitality staff maintained a clean and comfortable room for patient and traveling companion. Administration and support staff were very helpful in procuring flights and finding items such as food and toiletries for traveling companion. Overall stay was great and very supportive. THANK YOU, nurse Daniel and Anahi, for all the kindness provided.
It's been a fantastic hospital, the care has been above and beyond what we expected. The staff are all marvelous, no complaints. All medical work has been fantastic, we would definitely recommend to anyone who needed medical care.

I love my primary care physician in USA but after the care I received here, I am happy I wasn't treated for decompression illness in the US. Your emphasis on excellent patient care is the same as my doctor but clinics and hospitals in my town are not always efficient, and sometimes not very friendly.
You should be very proud of the services provided at this facility. The staff were professional, friendly, and caring. Not only did my husband receive excellent care, but the staff also took care of me (wife). I was so emotional and grateful for the level of support offered. I was not expecting to be taken care of. It's hard to put into words how the staff decreased my stress during this unexpected event. Furthermore, Dr. Bayardo (cardiologist) requested we contact him to ensure we made it home safely. That's going above and beyond. The cardiologist in Texas told my husband to stay on the same medication regime they prescribed in Mexico, further solidifying the high level of care.
Estoy muy agradecida con todo el equipo médico y de enfermeras, siempre fueron muy diligentes, amables, colaboradoras y sobre todo profesionales. Quiero resaltar la labor de las enfermeras, son unas profesionales muy humanas y con alto sentido de colaboración. Estuvieron muy pendientes de mi proceso.
